Red Rose Cine Blitz November 2008

From the article Everyone Loves A Good Scare.

1980 also saw Rajesh Khanna superstar of 1970s,take on the role of a serial killer in the unsettling and orignal Red Rose.In a much more radical move than the Shah Rukhs and Sanjay Dutts of today,Khanna broke with his lover boy screen image and portrayed a disturbed woman-hater who lured young women to his house, murdered and buried them in his garden.

  2. I really like RK in this movie, it was really nice to see him in a different light. Even my dad who likes the typical masala movies of the 70's, liked this movie. he said it was nice to see RK in a different role. To bad this movie isn't counted as one his best!

  3. No body could have done such a role - rather dared to do such a role.

  4. Rajesh Khanna had shown his unparallel and unique characterization power with changed body language and total change of personality. Nobody except can perform such extraordinarily. The last scene when he was behind the bar is purely exceptional in term of superb performance at world class level.
